Gender Reveal Party

A couple weeks ago I helped host a gender reveal for one of my closest friends, Tara. It turned out to be a great success!

We took a lot of inspiration for the décor from the cute invitations that Tara designed herself.

We used pink and blue (of course) with grey accents.

The theme was modern, rustic and we used a lot of chevron pattern and burlap to decorate.

I made this wreath for Baby Guidry.

Guests were greeted at the door with this cute little chalkboard sign my sister, Nicole hand lettered.

The sign in table was right in the entryway...

Tara made her own thumb print sign in.

We also had a subtle Mexican vibe since they call their baby Taco...

... and of course all the food on the menu was Mexican catered by Izzo's Burritos.

These little Tabasco bottles spiced up the party!

Blue and pink everywhere... even the utencils

We also had a drink bar.

Guests could choose a mason jar with either a pink or blue chevron burlap ribbon.

Guests could choose between blue and pink striped or polkadot paper straws.

The punch flavors were bouncing boy blue and pink lemonade.

The dessert table was the main feature.

I made this burlap lips and mustache banner myself

There were red velvet and blueberry donuts with paper onesies.

The guests could take home their candy in a little bucket.

The mason jars weren't just for drinking, we used some as vases which held flowers.

The guests also had fun picking either a mustache or a pair of lips for a photo op.

The mother and father to be made a piñata to revel the gender of their little taco.

When they pulled the string glitter and confetti came out.

We all found out that they will be having a sweet baby boy!

Special thanks to Ms. Nicole Bell of Nicole Bell Photography for the photographs!
